December 20 2015

we are all set for our year end battle....

everybody are also excited with the current new project our company is embarking

we are currently pushing so hard that everyone is running at full steam.. or rather running out of steam..

but we remain optimistic despite the economic downturn and soft purchasing power by end users

so much money and effort were put into this project that failing is not an option

i hope i can reach that new height, i call this new height because my vision for this new direction no longer revolve around Malaysia market

or rather revolve around machinery market

i want to do export and take my expertise abroad.

to involve myself with this project is very tiring, not physically but mentally... i don't really mind it too much

in fact i'm burst with energy. Maybe because it's a new project and that i have been doing the same thing for the past couple of years. This project breath fresh air into my already dead body and also breath fresh air to the stall market

i'm happy that i'm able to also find a group of people that can help me to complete this project

I call this project

Health Aesthetic

*******************************************************

just as i was finishing my meeting tonight, i saw couple of flashy cars parked in front of scott garden

not that i'm being envious of the owners

but seeing the owner coming out from the car at this hour while i just finished meeting give me a great deal of motivation

and i keep telling myself

keep pushing harder and harder..

everything is hard but at the same time, nothing is too hard. It just depends on what you want to achieve

monetary is surely not what i'm aiming... because i knew money will eventually came if we just work

i don see many poor people in the city, just humble and laying low people

anyway, i want to make a mark and i always says this.. make your presence felt...

i don't know what those men do to be able to drive such flashy cars but i knew, it's not something easy

it is that "not something easy" which i'm interested to know.. to see under that circumstances, can i do better or worse

november 17 2015

i recently just got back from a company trip

it was a hong kong-guangzhou trip... everything was fine and well until my laptop was stolen in the middle of the trip

what make it even worst was that the laptop's new. it had only followed me for a mere 3 months

i decided to then head out to get myself a new laptop.. the one i'm currently using to type this out

it's called the lenovo yoga 3 pro

it was pretty pricey... but a laptop that i currently enjoy using

moeny earn should be used else whats the point of earning money then

however, money should be used wisely

****************************************

Things has been going well so far

i'm counting my blessings

work or business has been good to me and i'm just happy with how things are going

sure there are people who are suffering but then its already been speculated that 2015 is just getting from bad to worse

2016 will be from worse to worst

but then anything that goes down will bounce back up

i foresee 2017 to be better, starting around mid of the year

******************************************

life has been pretty stable for me at the moment not much ups and downs

comprising 80% of my time to work in order to get my company off this economic crisis

but its a life i enjoyed...

i always say, most important is able to earn decent money and be happy

for in our city life, money is very important...

unless we stay in the village...

that to me, it's the ultimate life

unfortunately i'm staying in the city, i don take it as a habit to run away from problem. Since i'm here, i might as well do something to make the best out of it

to get a job i enjoy and excel at, while doing something i enjoy after work and of course with the money earned i can do things or buy things that i enjoy

that sounds pretty stable and enjoyable too

i no longer spend my time sleeping the whole day.... embarrassing enough, that's what i use to do..

*********************************

another couple of months and 2016 chinese new year is here

i'll be 32 then

and today beauty marketing is approaching its 8 years of establishment

i started my own business when i was 24

what a long journey

let's look back how i look when i first started my business and went to hong kong for business trip comparing it to now..

What a big difference

HAHAHA

22 october 2015

For those that do not know, I have been in the aesthetic industry for more than 9 years. Beauty industry to be more exact.

I have always enjoyed what i'm doing simply for a fact i think i am a very good sales person beside i enjoyed sharing my knowledge.

But as time goes, i began to grew tired for the same problem occur and the lack of innovation in the industry. The only thing that keep changing is the increasing competitors. That's it!

I sat down one day and asked myself.. what do i want to do with my career and how i want to leave a mark in this industry.

There is when i start out a revolution project to change the entire landscape for the aesthetic industry. My goal is of course not only that it will impacted Malaysian but the whole south east asia.

it's a very big and daring dream. The plan that i work out doesn't sound too convincing either in the beginning. Nobody was convince with my idea. Many times, i even doubted myself if what i'm doing is right...

I get down to the ground and began pushing my ideas out to people. However, i understand if only i able to sell this idea. It does not mean success. Success means my idea can be duplicate by my sales but hard to be replicate by my competitors.

many hours of sleepless night were poured in. I finally get the path right

People beginning to see the fruitful of my idea and starting to accept it.

Sales began to came pouring in again and work is getting heavier and busier.

I was not tired by the hectic schedule though, i was excited.

I knew few years down the road with me looking back, there's going to be two conclusion

Either i'll be extremely proud of what have came from my idea or i have to say goodbye to the industry after almost a decade for it is a sunset industry.

I called this my health aesthetic project

September 30 2015

It's been a while since the last time i blog

due to economy slowing dow, the introduction of GST here in Malaysia and also the political instability... have indeed cause much nuisance and problem to the environment i'm working.

This contribute my company to suffer losses after losses.

The impact was devastating leading to many of my clients to either close their shop or minimize their company structure.

of course with the introduction of competitor using the same technique and machines as us, the market becomes smaller

I thus came out with a brand new idea or concept to tackle this situation

i'm lucky enough to say, so far my plan has been going well although much more effort were put in.

travelling have become more frequent and the stress level were in constant spike

I'm used to this kind of pressure and stress so this familiar situation is manageable to say the least

It's just that i do not like this kind of instability but then, it is also something which a company owner can't avoid for the change is the only thing constant in an industry

a stagnant industry would either have a high entry point of simply put, the effort does not equal to the money earned

but then, money is never everything

it is important but it is not everything

we are here to live our life and we should make our life count

i always speak of leaving a legacy in the aesthetic industry

We make one before but unfortunately our company was not credited for it.

this time round. i hope we can get the credit that we fully deserve

and that is the change / legacy that i want to leave

Few days ago i saw a facebook newsfeed in my laptop.

It was posted by a lady. A pretty one to say the least. This is what she wrote

"i saw my friend heading to zouk. Being bored as its saturday, i call him up and said if i can tag along. He said yes but with condition that i have to pay my own cover and share the bottle as they had enough people heading into the club. What a cheapskate. If you can't pay for a lady to go and if you don't have money to play then why go in the first place? cheapskate"

that's what she wrote

of course, since she is pretty there are many comments siding her. my question is this. If you are unwilling to pay maybe because you are poor, then what the heck you going to club too? because you are a pretty girl so you expect things handed to you for free? you must be kidding and living in lala land.

i look at thing at different perspective.

girls talk about feminism and equal right? then expect to be treated equally as well..

chivalry exist but if your good deed is to be brought using money then i don't think that lady is of any good quality to start with.

June 17 2015

with an accumulation of 50+ days of leaves that has yet to be claim. I decided to take one day off.

work has been extremely tight and busy these few days. With additional work piling up, i'm just mentally and physically exhausted.

That being said, an off day make everything feels so good. Just to take your mind off work for a day. I get to finish the book that i brought few months back. I got to make the juice, sit back while listening to musics and enjoy every sip of it rather than drinking it in the car or between meetings.

I got to go to the clubhouse and utilize the facilities. Taking my time as i do it. I don't have to rush it. Just taking my time to sweat it out.

I got to sit back and enjoy some online games. Something which i don't usually do. What can i say? It's fun... lol and i'm literally laughing out loud while typing this.

I will be able to catch some movies which i have yet to catch since Chinese new year.

On top of work, i have been participating in a six pack challenge between my friends.

Basically the rule is simple. 60 days to get the abs sorted out.

When i first accept the challenge, i highly doubt i will be able to achieve that six pack abs of steel. Why i don't think i can achieve that?

1) My daily work is taxing. Not that it's boring but it's demanding. To cut sugar and oil off my meal, makes me wonder whats the point of even working so hard when i can't even enjoy a decent meal. I'm no some fitness freak. Just looking healthy would be good for me.

2) I doubt i would have that much of a time to work out. one hour every day or two day is the best i can put in.

3) protein shake or those body building powder are expensive

That being said, i just join for the fun and trying to push myself to stay fit and be healthy. Beside i would want to see how determine i can be.

That's before, midway and day 50. There's some changes but again it's nothing to brag about.

so i decided to give myself a final 10 day hard push.

That's the best i can go. I'm so mentally exhausted by the end of the challenge.

i didn't win it of course.

probably barely even pass.

i have a restricted diet during the past 60 days. Though its not that strict, it was strict enough to make me hate the food i'm taking at times.

This day off is also a day i'll be able to indulge in those sweet stuff.

Gummi bears. That soft drinks and of course those chocolate and snacks.

I have a sparring class during my off day too and it is also the first time i able to spare with ease. I barely focus and the punches that i throw barely sting. I barely move which in turn means i barely sweat. It's ok. I'm having my day off.

^^

Haha

I have been a lazy worm during my off day. It feels refreshing. I enjoy taking my off or break during the weekday more that taking it during the weekend. I also able to have the whole house to myself.

I don't plan to sleep through my off day.

Till then.... i'm off to enjoy the remaining of my day off...

june 11 2015

its the mid of 2015. In another 6 more months and a brand new year comes. While me on another hand gets older by another year.

I have been involve in the aesthetic industry for 9 years now and is heading towards my big 10.

I enjoy what this industry can provide me with and also enjoy doing sales in this particular industry.

However i'm thinking of putting my foot out to start a new division...

I would want something that can break the 10 million pot of gold.

Couple of friends would say and even asked if i really in need of such amount of money

Its not really about the money from this point onward... Its more of seeing how far i can push myself.. with monetary and legacy as the reward of course

April 13 2015

It's been almost 3 years since the last time i came to Muar.. nothing much change but a city that hold so much history and also story

Life was different for me 3 years back

Life is different for me now

Colleague that stood beside me while we meet customers and canvass... are no longer here

Roads that lead us to that evening seaside breeze are no longer there too..

bikes are replace with cars...

As i drive slowly along the road, i let the quietness soak in

i have always like cities that are quiet and not busy

in a week time i will be celebrating my 31st birthday

Yes, i'm 31 this year. The last time i was here, i'm only 28

time flies so fast and i barely have time to sit back and enjoy life...

many things took place though that have make me a grown man

happy birthday month to myself :)

7 days to go

march 19 2015

comes this 1st of april, Malaysia will be hit for the first time, the GST

paying for GST is not a big deal to be honest as many countries has been paying its GST, some even up to 15%

GST is also a good mean to control unethical  or hanky-panky company from running taxes.

However i see many things is raising together with this GST. I was walking as usual in scott garden today, and walk by this shop that sells power bank. I notice the price difference. Just two weeks ago, the power bank is selling at RM88 and now its selling at RM108. That's almost 22% of increment.

what the hell??

I met with a malay guy today and i spoke to him about this.. he agreed

Cost of living is getting high simply because our salary is not moving at the same speed.. and for those people that work in the operation line.. that's going to get hit the most

well, at least for sales person they are bound to get high commission with incentives.

of course i'm not talking about those engineers that work in oil and gas companies which yield them RM30,000 of salary a month

Those that fall under the bracket of below RM6,000, they are going to feel the pitch after the whole income tax and epf deduction.

and of course those people that likes to drink during the weekend. Be it at the mamak or the bar.

To the future, let's work harder together, shall we?
