All started at March 1st, Today Beauty had its very first company trip and due to a last minute arrangement, we only manage to go to Taman Negara at Pahang, though initially we had plan for something more interesting. Anyway, it did not disappoint.
There's only about 9 participant as nearly 4 people cannot attend the event. Our team is very small compare to some 50 pax, or 30 pax.
It was a battling of the red team and the blue team which the red team won in the end. I think the trip benefit everyone more and everyone enjoyed themselves. We played a lot of team building games, though it was not facilitate well enough, at least we plan the games out ourselves from scratch.
I hope Today Beauty can continue to grow and be much better.
company dinner
An annual company dinner only that this time round, nearly everyone join in for the dinner and also the after party.
of course the malays were not there and few more others but nevertheless i'm again glad that nearly all turn up despite a low turn out few years ago. Probably everyone feel much at home now :)
company sharing session
We have our monthly sharing sessions whereby each colleague were given a book to read and study, towards end of the month they would shared what they have learn from the book.
From what i have listen to today, i'm very impress and also happy on how far they have come.
I felt like our company is like a school to them, I always strive for them to learn something new and to improve themselves.
A company should be a platform for any individual to craft out the leader in them or bring the best in them. Why work for only a few thousand ringgit but stuck at a same level or probably marginal improve position. To make work interesting, there should be a constant challenge and to let the creative side take control else it would be a dead wood job.
That is how google, facebook and also apple succeed. Jobs there are not boring at all.

company NTV7 seminar
We collaborate with NTV7 to build awareness and also improve our company standing, letting staff to take over this event was definitely an eye opener for them, most important... at least they saw we are no CIMB, Maybank, IBM, HP or any big firm but we are trying our very best to grow into a decent size company, a company that my colleague felt like a second home.
I do my best to defend that
My dad once told me that there is a pressure or expectation that one generation has to do better than the previous generation in order to grow. The previous generation should build a platform for the young one to achieve that. I will strive on this and take one step further than my dad.

The very much anticipated exhibition is around the corner, honeymoon time is nearly over as march steps in, in our industry February is normally the honeymoon month. Time to work hard
During the campfire sharing period, many things went through my mind however rather than speak them all out, i decided to only summarize it in a very very short manner.
Many people have their opinion on me, good or bad is not the main point. I felt at this moment i have all this small little kids under my wing that i need to take care and groom. Seeing them prosper and grow makes me understand what responsibility means, but others always have their own say.
I had my very own fair share of personal problems but as stated, it's personal thus i would want to remain private. However we all had that learning curve, as a famous quote once said "we first have to Learn and then after we shall take the L away"
