2 april 2014(ii)

I recently went back to school to get some paperwork done.. and i met with a couple of old friends.. we chat for a while on how our research journey went..

It is then the comparison came along

some mention how young he was when he first finish his doctorate with some excellent grades, some mention how fit his body is and how any push up he can do, some mention how many ladies he had score before, and some just say how well he is doing now and how high his networth is.. oh and i forget another one that brag how good he is with sports...

i sat there for a moment and decided not to indulge myself in that kind of conversation thus pardoning myself after awhile..

and i think to myself

some dedicate their life or their time to do something like getting his body fit and doing push up, while other dedicate their time in increasing their networth or money.. so how can we compare it that way?

it's like comparing a monkey and a dog, to see how can climb the highest..

comparing a goat and a whale, to see how can swim deeper...

it's just by nature different and everybody dedicate their life and time differently...

ask me about sports and games.. i'm going to show a blank face..

to compete and compare would improve an individual, that i agree.. but in the same field and same playing level

on a personal note.. i spend most of my time reading and working.. suddenly an individual show up and show me his six pack abs and his muscular arm..

i dont find that act stupid.. but i find the act annoying.. maybe making me look like a shit makes him feel better of himself..

i dont deny it gets to me a little bit.. probably because i hate losing.. in whatever i do..

already 30... an average malaysian has a life span of 72 year old..

thats mean in 6 years time.. half of my feet is already in the grave

the first part time job i got is when i was 14.. my first full time job came when i was 22

we will eventually get old...
